8 Caption Selections now being accepted! |

So, after mulling it over and talking with John, we are going to make
the change to the 8 caption system today. Now, here is what that means.
1. The 8 caption system has been activated.
2. The point limits will go up to 132, 102, and 77.
3.
For tonight and tomorrow nights shows, we will still use the 5 caption
scoring, so even though you have 8 captions, we will only score the 5
captions, and will just disregard the other 3 captions for now.
4. We will switch over to the 8 caption scoring system for Regional Prelims on the 4th.
So
this may skew the scores for tonight and tomorrow, but we figure it is
better to have an off show the 2 shows before Regionals than to have an
off show for Regional Prelims. We hope that this will give all corps
time to submit the 8 captions, and we will not be forced to insert
Pioneer's scores for the missing 3 captions.
Hopefully this will
resolve a lot of problems with people traveling over the holidays, and
reduce some stress. Again.... Questions or Concerns?

 Week one of DCPI started off with a lot of movement and a lot of new corps at the top of Division I! Many years start off rocky for the usual suspects, but this year looks like it could be a real challenge for many with so many great corps out there on the field!
